Yolonda Morris is a dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Assistant with a remarkable 26-year career in healthcare. Prior to serving as the Illinois State Representative for the 9th District, Yolonda proudly contributed her time and energy as a union organizer for SEIU, advocating for the rights and fair treatment of workers.

Yolonda is a true champion of important causes such as the "Fight for 15", which seeks to establish a livable minimum wage, as well as advocating for Child Care for All, recognizing the critical necessity of

accessibility and affordable childcare services for working families. Furthermore, she is strongly advocating for dignity, respect, and Safe Staffing in healthcare facilities.
